Stollen is a fruit bread of nuts, spices, and dried fruit soaked in dark rum, coated with powdered sugar and butter. It is a traditional German bread eaten during the Christmas season, when it is called Weihnachtsstollen or Christstollen. Baking December 23 & 24.
Our Great Harvest version has an almond marzipan in the center.
